Berlin, December 14, 2007. On December 17th, Berlin-based mobile software company bit-side launches their new version of PanoMan 3.0 for effortless panoramic pictures on your camera phone. Previous versions of PanoMan have already been sold in more than 30 countries. bit-side's new features for PanoMan 3.0 include support for images up to 30 megapixels and improved picture quality.
More than half of all mobile phones in the market today include cameras.
Current camera phones can take reasonably good photos but it can be hard to capture wide vistas such as landscapes and city views. Recording panoramic or 360-degree views is painstaking and requires manually merging or alignment of individual pictures.
PanoMan 3.0 intelligently automates creating great panoramic photos. The panoramic pictures are stored on the camera phone and can be sent via MMS or email to friends and blogs. They also look great when printed out because of the high resolutions supported byPanoMan 3.0.
bit-side's PanoMan 3.0 uses unique image processing so that the pictures in the panorama can be automatically merged. To create a 360-degree photo, the user simply turns around on the spot while the camera records the picture. Even first-time users can create beautiful panoramas of mountains, beaches, and street scenes.

On December 17, the website www.panoman.net goes online where users can buy PanoMan 3.0 for Euro 9.90 (incl. VAT). Customers are sent a link via SMS and can immediately download and install the software.
Initially, PanoMan 3.0 is available for many Nokia S60 smartphones. bit-side will provide information on the PanoMan website when more phone models are supported. PanoMan 3.0 is 270 KB in size.
